Buyer Rules

Template notice. This document is a template provided with the BuildMarket platform. It has not been reviewed by counsel for your jurisdiction or business. Replace or approve it in the admin panel before public launch.

1. Bids and offers are binding. If you win an auction or your offer is accepted, you must proceed to escrow within the agreement window.
2. Do your diligence. Use deal rooms, ask questions, and verify what matters to you. Badges and scores help but are not guarantees.
3. Fund escrow only through the escrow provider. Never send money directly to a seller.
4. Inspect promptly. Confirm receipt within the inspection period. Silence after the inspection period may be treated as acceptance by the escrow provider's terms.
5. Rotate credentials. After transfer, change every password, API key and secret. BuildMarket sellers are instructed never to share secrets in chat.
6. Respect confidentiality. Deal room material is confidential and may be subject to the click-through NDA you accepted.
7. No circumvention. Do not take a deal off-platform to avoid fees.
8. No abuse. Bid retraction, bid manipulation, harassment or fraudulent chargebacks lead to removal.
