About the product
Folio Reader brings a Kindle-inspired, book-like reading experience to compatible phones, tablets and computers, without requiring a dedicated e-reader. Independent product; not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.
SALE TERMS: US$24,900 asking price; offers considered. Full project asset sale with no retained equity or revenue share.
FEATURES: EPUB, text-based PDF, TXT and DOCX uploads; browser-local bookshelf and bulk removal; six paper atmospheres; desktop portrait/open-book layouts and mobile single-page reading; focus, lighting and 26 px font controls; page taps/swipes/arrows; recorded page-turn and subtle interface sounds; ribbon bookmark and return-to-bookmark; printed-style clickable chapter index; direct HTTPS article and available YouTube caption import.
INCLUDED: Original application source and deployable release, editable source modules, reproducible build instructions, pinned dependencies, synthetic regression tests, buyer setup/source map, operating limitations, third-party notices and transfer checklist. Third-party materials retain their licenses. Buyer deploys in their own Cloudflare account. No purchased domain, seller personal accounts, credentials, analytics account, private books or customer database are included.
TECHNOLOGY: Vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python assembly script and Cloudflare Pages Worker. IndexedDB/localStorage keeps libraries on the reader's device. No end-user accounts, cloud sync, subscription billing or centralized book storage.
BUSINESS: Pre-revenue asset sale; seller reports US$0 revenue. No verified traffic, customer count, profit history or projected earnings are claimed. The asking price is the seller's price, not an external valuation.
LIMITATIONS: PDFs require extractable text; scans need external OCR, legacy DOC and DRM EPUB are unsupported. Chapter indexing is heuristic. Public article access can be blocked. YouTube requires available captions and depends on external provider limits; it does not transcribe audio. Hosting/CDN/provider terms and future costs are buyer responsibilities. Browser audio/fullscreen behavior varies.
